The delegation of 14 representatives of 8 Czech companies headed by Mr. Jiří Nestával, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce visited Perm on February 1-2, 2010.
Program of the visit comprises meetings with the Perm city Administration and the Perm region Government, as well as negotiations with the Perm businessmen organized by the Perm Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There were held over 40 meetings.
Some business meetings with Czech business mission had been held by Igor Shubin, Mayor of the Perm city, and Anatoliy Makhovikov, acting for and of behalf of the Head of the Perm city Administration.
The meeting was devoted to the review of the social and economic development of the city. There were determined main directions and projects of further cooperation and established a dialogue site for development of contacts between the Perm and Czech business.
Mr. Jiří Nestával, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, thanked the city management and Perm CCI for a warm reception and informed that Czech delegation consists of managers who run the companies with great financial potential and who are interested in creation of joint ventures and implementation of high-tech productions. Prague Magistrate is also interested in development of contacts with our city. It’s expected that in the first half of the year 2010 Perm will be visited by Mr. Pavel Klega, Vice Mayor of Prague, who will head the delegation of municipal services representatives.
